I can understand a little hostility to individuals making broad anti-trans statements, but honest personal experience is always valid. Whether detrans people are 1% or 50% of all trans, their personal experience is valid, interesting, and worth listening to.

The few time I have been personally involved in heated issues, I retreated to just discussing my own personal experience and knowledge. It helped a little. I wish the detrans people on Youtube told their own stories, rather than inveigling against transitioning in general.

Many detrans folk on Youtube do tell their own stories, even if those stories make others uncomfortable I'm personally not against transition for those who seek it, but my experiences have taught me wanting transition doesn't mean transition will help. So, I call for caution
