I’ll never understand why some trans activists/allies get so defensive and hostile when it comes to detransitioners and #detrans discussion.

#Detransition exists, whether you like it or not. And we deserve a voice just as much as you do.

Detransitioners begging for attention, you say. I say detransitioners demanding the voice they deserve. Trans people who are happy with their transition deserve a voice, and so do we who regret it.

How do you use your voice, and where? How do you allow your experience to be used by others? Most detransitioners have my sympathy and hope they find the place they are comfortable. A very few have my absolute disgust.
