I’ll never understand why some trans activists/allies get so defensive and hostile when it comes to detransitioners and #detrans discussion.

#Detransition exists, whether you like it or not. And we deserve a voice just as much as you do.

Narrative. Trans people have no issue with detransitioners, of any sort, per se. It is the way even the possibility of detransition is weaponised to delegitimise transition, medical care, and the identities of trans people. Most of those pushing this are not detransitioners,
