"You can't make someone be trans."
Lui from @Mermaids_Gender says the transitioning process is “rigorous” and that the experiences of detransitioners should not be used to suggest that people are “being pressured or made into being trans"

As someone who went through the transitioning process, I can confirm that it was, in fact, anything but rigorous. Transition was presented not only as the best option, but the only option to alleviate my dysphoria. Testosterone and a mastectomy did not help me.

Very frustrating for you. What do you think the cause of your dysphoria is ?

I'm not entirely sure. I have issues with my womanhood due to past negative experiances, and I have issues with my body due to past struggles with an eating disorder. I think those things could have played a role, but it's hard to say.

so sorry to hear this, and this is the concern... too many tell the same story of *affirmation* with no attempt to understand underlying issues causing or exacerbating gender confusion.. Children and teens need help, not ideology or expediency and a lifetime of regret

I agree. I was too stubborn and naive back then to know any better, but now I know transition was clearly not what I needed. Realised far too late, of course.

I mean it lovely.. we were all teens once and knew it all.. I am just grateful that nothing I did had consequences beyond hangovers, bad boys and pissed off parents
