At the time I wanted to transition because I had convinced myself, thanks largely to online encouragement, that transition would help me. I was in deep denial concerning my other issues.
When I transitioned I didn't have the internet at all so the "online" access while informing can lead you down the wrong path. What I did was listen to myself, my decision, no one told me. I'm, not the "trans" community that lot are a bunch of dreamers
When I transitioned the internet was futuristic sci fi & there were no 'communities' to be 'guided' by. So I went the old fashioned way of saying - something is wrong - go see a doctor - find out what, why & what to do about it. Today we need more of that & less self diagnosis.
