I just saw someone saying, “#detrans voices are being silenced”.
I don’t know, man, maybe it’s because actual trans people suffer to get their own voices heard and we don’t want people backing up transphobic rhetoric from people who blame /their/ regrets on other people.

Just because you weren’t heard does not mean that trans voices are heard. If you don’t think transitioning is the best solution for people with dysphoria, then please feel free to educate me on what you think would help us not want to literally rip our skin off.
I have dysphoria. That’s why I transitioned, because I thought transition was the best way to manage it. I was on T for 5 years, I had a mastectomy. My dysphoria's still here. Helping people to love & accept themselves is a start. Learning to love my female self was what I needed
