Actually, I wish that were totally true. Unfortunately, I've encountered a fair number of doctors over the years who reject evolution and other science that conflicts with their religions. Unlike the case with scientists physicians are at least as religious as the general public. https://t.co/JFXAg1weRS

There’s nothing wrong with scientist being religious. I’m a physicist & know many scientists who have strong faith - they’ve come to conclusion there’s a spiritual aspect in life that’s separate from science. That’s different than discarding known science & ignoring basic facts.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with doctors who are religious. Often religion is what motivates them to want to help and heal. However, I do have a problem with doctors whose religion leads them to reject science.

You did or at least implied, whether you intended to or not. ‘Unlike the case with scientists physicians are at least as religious as the general public.’...with the term ‘religious’ referencing back to first sentence that talked about docs rejecting science for their religion.

It's simply a fact that religion leads a lot of people to reject certain conclusions of science. Religious physicians are, unfortunately, no different than other people in that respect. Most religious physicians don't let their religion interfere with their medicine. Some do.

2/ Followed by 'most physicians don't let their religion interfere with their medicine'. Make up your mind. And, 'it's a fact' & 'a lot' are two phrases that just don't go together. I get your point is to degrade religious physicians w/o actually saying it. That makes you a bigot
