yeah, i see now that elasticache can be priced on demand too. i didn't look too deeply, I was fooled by the announcement of "dynamodb the first serverless db". i'll try to move my archive in a serverless stack soon

Boot up time of each component is one of the big concerns for me as it will introduce latency, unless there is a cool down period in which consecutive requests can reuse existing instances, but I am not sure if
#AWS#Serverless is designed that way (I may be wrong here). -
It looks like they have the concept of execution environment that takes care of this concern and does not need a cold reboot each time.
