So.... Venezuelans have been starving for years now, among other terrible things they have been enduring under Maduro. When there is dialogue between opposition and government, will you care to read a bit into Venezuela ‘s recent history or will you just tweet nonsense like now?

Prior to Chavez, Venezuela suffered under right-wing regimes. Bolavarian revolution made great progress. "[I]n 1999, 23.4% of the population were recorded as being in extreme poverty, this fell to 8.5% in 2011". Meantime, right-wing colluded to sabotage.https://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/oct/04/venezuela-hugo-chavez-election-data …

The opposition has tried to dialogue with the Maduro administration mediated by the Vatican. This has not worked as military forces kept opressing the Venezuelan people. The sanctions don’t affect the poor, they suffer because of the economic collapse caused by his mismanagement

Could you provide details on which sanctions are specifically targeting Venezuela's poor? They're mostly against government officials accused of human rights abuses or of aiding human rights abuses:https://www.state.gov/e/eb/tfs/spi/venezuela/ …

Venezuelan government should revise its export policy, substantially under cut the OPEC, and thus revive its economy. Double crude production and export with a sense of vengeance all over the world to gobble up the OPEC market.

Profe, this freshman to Congress knows nothing about
#Venezuela. I’ve trying to explain to her what’s really happening, but she’s deaf. She thinks this is right vs. left. She cannot see anything but an opportunity to criticize the Republican US president. Shame on her - 1 more reply

Honestly, your Muslim Brotherhood rhetoric belongs in Somalia, not the US. Aligning yourself with Russia, Turkey, Iran, Syria, you give good Muslims a bad rap. Your MN district is the poster child for ending mass immigration from radicalized regions.
