ICE is set to deport dozens of individuals from my district to Somalia, risking the spread of COVID. ICE’s actions will not only put these individuals at risk, but could have far-reaching consequences for Somalia. This week, I sent a letter to ICE to get answers.

I'm truly hoping for the best. I wish, at least until the pandemic is truly over, we could stop things like deportations. It makes no sense to spread this disease, and put others at risk.

We've tried to help Somalia and what did we get for our trouble?

A sense of Christian goodwill, one might hope - if we truly were a Christian nation. Instead, these replies seem to show we are a nation of selfish and greedy behavior - not one Christian bone among us. Sad. I hope Ilhan finds a better answer for these people than yours.
