We had to earn our way through life and pay our bills! Why should this generation be any different. Then the American taxpayer will pay college debt again? How is that fair?

Not the best framed argument. Try, “US Colleges and Universities charge far too much and we need to figure out a better approach rather than saddling students with enormous debt.”
