The senators who see Trump’s offenses but decide to take a pass—like Rubio and Alexander—must imagine Trump world will write the history books and spare them future shame. I wish they had read JFK’s “Profiles In Courage” about brave senators who took risks to do the right thing.

Great strength of this piece by (and why she is such a good journalist) is that she focuses on big story of the US and Iran, and not on the flap between her and bombastic, thin-skinned Secretary of State

An important piece by that describes Qasem Soleimani’s skill at combining Shiite and Sunni extremists against America. Iran has been a supremely skillful and devious adversary. Lesson is be tough, be smart.

It's clear from this video how many promising lives were cut short. An unspeakable loss for their families, friends, and nations: 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainians, 10 Swedes, four Afghans, three Germans and three British nationals. RIP.
