"Not worth" building deeper Palestinian-Jewish political coalition? Meretz missed a crucial opportunity to set the example. Shame.

.⁦⁩ Board Chair ⁦: “To stigmatize as antisemitic those who imagine Israel as a state of its citizens / who regard its policies as racist is effectively to deny them the right to advocate for justice for Palestinians.“

Why, you might ask, is legislating a new definition of antisemitism important right now? Well, the answer is simple. The IHRA is a priority for Israel-advocacy groups because it designates trenchant criticisms of Israel as antisemitism (e.g. calling Israel a racist endeavor).

This is despicable. "It’s no secret that some of these nighttime raids are meant to train the soldiers, to demonstrate control and make a show of force to the Palestinian population. In other words, some of these raids are unnecessary and even criminal."

Got my Craving Palestine cookbook with my family's recipe for grape leaves with lamb chops (yummy). The proceeds go to education and poverty programs for Palestinian refugees. It's a great holiday gift that will also help people in need.

Here's a thought: rather than light a building to promote disability equity, maybe send the electricity to nearby Gaza, where chronic power outages stemming from Israeli policies harm 1000s of ppl w disabilities who rely on electricity to move/communicate?

The Abraham Accords were promoted as a way to normalize relations between the Arab world and Israel — AND to stop Israeli annexation. But here we see the real results: normalizing Israel’s de-facto annexation by legitimizing settlements, just like Pompeo did two weeks ago.

Eliot Engel — the last Chair of the —learned the hard way what happens when a politician holds tight to an outdated foreign policy agenda. It's time for a meaningful change to the way America acts towards the rest of the world.
