I have news for you, this is tremendously concerning. The lack of any PS5 information regarding backwards compatibility is speaking VOLUMES IMO. It brings into question WHY Sony hasn't addressed their own "Smart Delivery" system with PS4 games.pic.twitter.com/NFFybJQNIa

I suspect it's because Sony doesn't like
#xbox forcing them to answer questions they're not ready to. This is the Cross-Play situation all over again. Ultimately I suspect they will both leave it to publishers. But Xbox gave it a name, and make a promise. Very shrewd move - 3 more replies

I just don't get it, if I buy something new it's all about moving forward not backwards, I understand large game cats but it's not a deal breaker for me

it's good to have it, tho a lot of people wont use it (many who are laughing at sony right now) and the same happens with sony and its fanboys too, those who only play fortnite and COD and havent touched any ps4 exclusive but still laugh at xbox for "lacking exclusives." LoL

My guess would be slightly different. Given the small drive space, it would likely be an option for people rather than using space some won't use. But that could also allude to emulation/non-native support for PS4 titles. I'm anxious to hear the details.

Perhaps after the reveal the back compat will get its own bullet point. Perhaps it's even been expanded...no way to know till more info is released.
