Great point. An ongoing focus for me are actors who claim to be decelerative, but in practice are accelerative due to their incentives. My hope with providing tools for deceleration is that it normalizes deceleration and makes accelerating tribal conflict socially unacceptable.

It strikes me that deceleration seems to assume some kind of baseline normalcy, at least a pre-tribal warfare one. But that implies deceleration would appeal only to groups which perceive that baseline as acceptable. Do you think there's some kind of true neutral deceleration?
