      Important to note that this online study excluded anyone with PTSD, for ethical reasons. But the authors (like most psychiatrists I've asked) seem to think that TWs are more likely to harm than help people with PTSD, particularly in the long run.       Furthermore, whether or not TWs are helpful to those with PTSD, we should also consider whether TWs increase anxiety and vulnerability to future PTSD in the vastly larger group of students who suffer from anxiety but not PTSD:pic.twitter.com/Y4BNCYv36Q

      Even if TWs helped those with PTSD, the benefit to a small fraction of the population would have to be weighed against the fragilizing effects on the vast majority without it.
