Rachel Held Evans inspired me in many ways, most of all to be a “doubt-filled believer.” Her public life and journey remind us all that our faith must evolve and she gave us the courage to step into this faith and doubt filled journey.

I am so sad that this heartbreaking news has served as my introduction to Rachel. I know now that I need to stop wallowing in my anger and read the words she, and other progressive Christians have written. Bless her soul.

Same here. Never even heard of her but am so drawn to her story. She had such a strong message too. I was so inspired by seeing what she believed and spoke about. Her voice will not be lost. Ordering her last book.
