YES. Schools in low-income neighborhoods receive less funding, and if we continue to concentrate poor people, we're setting students from low-income families up for failure.

This is an important question that social housing advocates have met head-on. Our
#HomesGuarantee platform proposes federal preemption of the application of many restrictive land use policies to social housing: https://mk0homesguarant73iku.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/Homes-Guarantee-_-Briefing-Book.pdf …. Bernie has a similar plan. -
You don’t have a right to tell others how to live. If you do, then we have a right to restrict abortion, sexual orientation, transexuality, recreational drug use, et al. - whatever the local majority deems right.

NoVA suburbs have neighborhoods with concentrations of market-affordable rental housing where LI hhlds live. As we expand housing opportunities into SF neighborhoods, we must also invest in underserved communities. Many residents want to remain there.

If you're thinking about exclusionary issues, please consider a focus on universal accessibility as well. Some info:https://universaldesign.org/plan#need

It's been done before. It's not a "new" idea. http://www.nber.org/mtopublic/ It doesn't result in the Utopia you envision. Not the worst idea, but the results may surprise the adherents to progressivism that think it makes a "Utopia".

Ppl are just gonna move out. This is beyond idiotic. U're trying to avoid putting projects in already-underinvested communities, but people will move out, and u will have just created new underinvested communities. There's no possible way u're dumb enough to think this will work.
