On Tuesday an MSF convoy was stopped upon departure from our warehouse & checked by RSF forces. The RSF requested we make a statement on camera regarding RSF procedures in this particular circumstance & we were obliged to do this for our convoy to be able to continue its journey.

And this is effectively the same argument the Kean/Blumenthal UFO piece relies on. The reason this technique keeps popping up is because it’s one of a few tricks one can use to manufacture a fake thing out of thin air. Very useful in information warfare.

This is fake news! Bata is not closing. It’s just an annual pause in production for factory and machinery maintenance, it happens every year in August. It just so happened to come up earlier this year. Also it’s not even the whole factory it is just part of the factory
