    Wow. Is this how behave when they get caught with their trousers down? Running out the back door rather than face their own workers? They’ve tried to treat their workers like mugs, and have got shown up for the duplicitous cowards they are.

    Key workers told to take daily tests but many are provided with no sick pay if they have covid. Pointless measures unless these key workers given the financial support to isolate when needed. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table & spreading the virus!

    Our members came down to 's SECRET talks today with workers of their OWN CHOICE. No IWGB members/reps invited. As soon as they saw us, they cancelled the meeting and ran out the fire escape. Strike fund:

    Unsurprising to see that nearly 90% of low-paid precarious workers simply cannot afford to isolate if they tested positive for Covid-19. If you haven't answered the poll yet, do so below.

    If you were a low paid, precarious worker living hand to mouth with bills to pay and a family to feed, would you isolate if you tested positive for covid and your employer either paid the pittance SSP of £96 or nothing at all?

    I’ve been a few times but that was to demonstrate outside & shame them on their doorstep for not paying members the London living wage. Punters paying 1000s to frequent the venue & staff barely being paid enough to survive. Spoiler alert: we won
