    I've just started a google drive folder for sharing resources instead of emailing them all out! It's a work in progress and I aim to gradually add more!

    We used a 'find it and fix it' for the first time in a while today as whole class feedback after a test, definitely better than just running through a test! Great to address a number of misconceptions all at once!

    I really like using no goal starters, as students write anything they know about a topic everyone starts off experiencing success and there is a clear starting point! Great for identifying misconceptions and super low prep!

    I've been using faded instructions as an alternative to side by side examples to mix things up for yr 7, they've worked so well they even spotted my "deliberate" mistake! Super effective in embedding a process!

    Our boys lose marks on required practicals, so after the Physics booklet, with permission I've adapted the wonderful 's summaries to make a biology booklet! Ss really benefit from the videos too!

    I like the idea of cover booklets for classes where time is limited, this is for velocity-time graphs, if it works well I like the idea of a few ready made for each topic, maybe a future project! Available here:

    I was inspired by to try a key word recap by using images, a little abstract but this made it low risk, but worked quite well with my yr 9's! Interesting to see what they came up with! Available here:

    I've struggled to find effective feedback methods for a lower attaining SEND group, but have settled on these. There are clear positives and improvements. Not sustainable for large sets but OK for smaller sets!

    This simple electrolysis of universal indicator is one of my favourite quick experiments, the colour change clearly shows ions and then they form water once more when the current is switched off ! Simple but really cool!

    A focus this yr has been a lower attaining group, I've created flexible booklets, each lesson fits in a folder to remove objections to books, all activities are based around success to best motivate students !

    These lotus flowers are a great quick way to recall facts, a group take each section, then can use other groups information to steal facts without moving sheets. Low prep and helps to identify whole class misconceptions! Here:
