@isee3reboot @nasawatch So what do these signals mean? Is there a link to some interpretation? #arecibo #isee3
.@TheMichaelBusby the ISEE-3 spacecraft has two active transmitters - and we hear them - that's needed to command it to do science again
@isee3reboot Are these similar to the CubeSats used by some Unis in some states?
.@TheMichaelBusby No. ISEE-3 was launched in 1978 and is somewhat larger than a SUV.
@isee3reboot OK; thank you! Guess I have some homework to do.
.@TheMichaelBusby we're working with your neighbors in Kentucky @moreheadstate and their large antenna on this project!
@isee3reboot @moreheadstate Ah, OK; that may be where I got the idea of the CubeSat. We recently adopted KentuckyView, I think.
.@TheMichaelBusby this is the ISEE-3 spacecraft in a test chamber prior to launch. Note the ppl standing next to it.pic.twitter.com/dl6arKw6hm
@isee3reboot Good grief, it looks like Dr Evil's satellite, w/the "laser" right down the axis :)
