    Meanwhile, Fidesz attempts to backtrack, prioritising its relationship with Russia. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, who in Dec received the high-level decoration Russian Order of Friendship, moved to ban any weapon transit through Hungary.

    The opposition, a six-party coalition running against Fidesz on 3 April, is polling only slightly behind Fidesz and has been wrongly accused of “being on the side of war”- a phrase introduced by Orbán - and as willing to send troops and arms to fight against Russia.

    Something quite interesting seems to be happening in the QAnon (and QAnon-lite, QAnon adjacent etc.) conspiracy communities. Having previously been furiously anti-China, it seems as though the is nudging at least some of them towards a pro-China position.
