The @EU_Commission will first set the scene by providing an overview of the latest policy developments in the area of #resettlement. A formerly resettled refugee woman, now living in Italy, will then share her personal #integration journey.
The webinar will present the Guidelines on Mainstreaming Gender in Pre-departure Orientation. The Guidelines aim at supporting stakeholders in mainstreaming gender in pre-departure orientation programmes – from the design stage all the way to evaluation.
Finally, @IOMBeLux will share good practices on the engagement of local authorities and frontline services in host countries to better integrate gender in their assistance to migrant women, families and girls.
The webinar is organized in the framework of the COMMIT project, implemented by @UNmigration and funded by @EUHomeAffairs.
