Hell, not much diversity within the White Cis Gendered Able Bodied Man demo either. All of them have dark hair. SUPER narrow :(

I know. I was highlighting how homogeneous it is when devs don't even go for hair color diversity, let alone other diversity.

And I do agree with you that protagonist diversity is 1000% necessary. I am that cookie cutter protagonist and I don't like it.

I believe there should be diversity but not diversity for diversity sake.

I'd love to see more inclusion and normalisation of whomever/whatever character someone would want to develop.

hell yeah there are a lot blanket rugged white guys in games, but I don't believe in 'ending' such.

we just need more writers to take chances to tell stories and create characters of whatever background and definition.

but not forcing diversity/differentiation. Most if not all examples where it is forced, you can tell.

The Last of Us did it, in my opinion, perfectly.
