    Not only is Tom Woods a groomer, he’s also an obvious white nationalist who tries to minimize the evils of Nazism. See episode 1986 of his podcast.

    But the most absurd, & most sinister, moment of the podcast is the point where Gottfried & Woods agree that “antifa is more lunatic than the Nazis” & that, though Nazis saw reality “through a warped lens,” in the case of antifascists “there isn’t a lens, there’s a brick wall.”

    We talk a lot about Syria (and we should) but there isn't nearly enough acknowledgement of how much of modern red-brown politics on both the left and far-right trace directly back to support for the Bosnian genocide.

    Bosnian genocide denial keeps happening from various sides because it's integral to revanchist geopolitics which sees acknowledging the genocide as part of the Atlanticist/neoliberal/post-1989/etc canon. Denial conceptualized as liberation.

    Zemmour played a part for sure, but neither him nor Le Pen would be where they are if it weren't for mainstream politicians and media's irresponsible behaviour towards the far right These are typical diversionary tactics which negate the agency of those in position of power

    Le Pen is trending, so I suppose I might as well add my two cents on why she seems to be doing better this time than in 2017🧵. The first thing helping her is, paradoxically, the presence of Zemmour. Early on, there were concerns that this would simply 'split' the far right vote.

    Yeah, you're not telling the truth here. You claimed in a subsequent tweet that you dated her in 2002 (the year you married her), then changed it to 2001 when confronted with evidence that you were engaged in 2001. However, there's clear evidence that you dated before this. (1/X)

    Consistent anti-campist internationalism is not about being “neutral”, or finding equidistance between sides in a conflict. It’s about proceeding from positive principles - democracy, self-determination, workers’ freedoms - rather than basing your stance on geopolitical blocs.

    AFAIK, aside from the usual nonsense chattered by the lib-centrists and in the mainstream media, nobody in the Western powers is actually thinking about a regime change war against Russia. A section of the left is nonetheless fighting this plan... apparently out of sheer habit.
