When cannabis is finally legalized the tax should be lower than the current sales tax. Cannabis taxation should be used for projects like roads, bridges and schools just to make a few and give Hoosiers a well deserved tax break. 💚

In 2016 Indiana had 10,143 arrests for possession and sales of cannabis. Legalization would lower that number significantly. We need replace the money coming from arrests with legal sales of cannabis! 💚

A huge motivation for legalization of canna is benefiting Indy’s economy. Creating jobs and broaden tax revenue. new jobs in Indy would benefit us greatly. Currently there are 80k people unemployed in Indy. Legalizing canna would just benefit everyone. It truly is a win win!

Medical legalization was connected with 33.7% less expected workplace fatalities. Theres insufficient evidence to link cannabis use to workplace accidents/ injuries. Cannabis users aren’t at an increased risk for occupational injury unless they were to use cannabis on the job.

43 patients took medicinal grade CBD for 3 days , 64.3% of those patients hadn’t use heroin in a month. They experienced less craving and anxiety when shown drug cues for a week after the cbd was given to them. This gives us hope that opioid addiction CAN be treated with CBD.

Cannabis possession in Indiana is a class B misdemeanor resulting in up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine. After that, if caught again with less than 30g, you’re looking at up to a 1 year sentence and up to $5,000 fine. More than 30g its 6 months 2.5 years with a $10,000 fine
