    Ask why hasn't been back on his show in years despite repeated supplications on my part...oh, never mind. I'm just not relevant anymore I guess.

    When academics write books on “Black Power/Arts/Studies” that assert that these “movements” somehow “waned” or “died” after the 1970s, I always wonder if they ever recognize that as a confession of their disconnectedness to specific living institutions connected directly to them?

    I am a little upset at the ahistorical nature of the discussion of Trump’s terrible comments on shooting immigrants. Terrible. Yes. But everyone’s liberal fav FDR built a coalition with pro-lynching Democrats. They didn’t just joke about it either.

    Damn, I hate to think that one day YTppl will be hosting random, & rebranded, loud parties, where they gather in the streets and dance to D.C. go-go, after it is long forgotten that this was once an act of resistance to the flood of milk that washed the chocolate from the city 😔

    My take: I hope this video brings about justice, and not just ratings and web traffic to news websites, and increased ad revenue for Google/YouTube. Sick of watching the exploitation of images of Black people dead and dying without a shred of justice for our families.
