Wealthy urban ridings, especially those represented by higher-profile politicians, lead the country in total donations to Canada’s federal political parties in the 5 years after the 2015 election, according to an analysis by and the IJF (THREAD)
Ottawa Centre, home to Parliament Hill and many public servants, lobbyists and public policy stakeholders, led the country with $5.9 million in donations compared to the national average of $853,000
