Should be noted that people within the pagan and heathen earth based religious movements have also organized in the US to push out racist and fascist Asatru groups from their spaces and gatherings. Check our podcast on the subject here. https://itsgoingdown.org/igdcast-heathens-united-racism-pagan-community/ …pic.twitter.com/kHPfkrEvoR
The same should be remembered for the black metal scene. Anarchists and antifascists are organizing and pushing back against far-Right, fascist, and racist bands. Basically I am suspicious of anyone wearing a Mjölnir necklace because it’s definitely got a white supremacist dog whistle vibe to it, this being based off of all the people I’ve met that wear those necklaces have been them.
that invalidates a lot of good pagans who legitimately patronize the Norse pantheon, though. evil appropriates the innocuous or good for their nefarious ends. pepe, ok, etc. this view is just like saying all people who wear turbans are terrorists.
Atleaat two Virginia cops are members of this group. One was a Chesterfield Co. SRO outed as member of IE. He is being fired. The other is a sargeant of the Virginia Capitol Police. He is on admin leave while under investigation. How about that @VaCapitolPolice?
The Capitol Police sergeant has been fired.
