And I like hearing Wiener pointing out to LA reps that SB 50 has stronger tenant protections than the TOC program and I'm surprised to hear that LA has no city wide inclusionary policy, just a linkage fee. Is he correct?

I thought state law was that you can either do on-site or pay an in-lieu fee. Seems pointless to only have the fee option in LA, especially since housing probably pencils well there.

There is plenty of single family housing in LA. Homeowners oppose SB 50 because it would democratize the housing market, opening it up to more types of housing and, thus, more types of people. We need more housing across all price points + affordable units. ALL OF THE ABOVE.
