    Someone noticed that when you have hundreds / thousands of cores in a supercomputer, the individual utilization boxes in Task Manager start to look like pixels. People started making pictures by doing different amounts of work on specific processors. It escalated quickly. https://t.co/hqogF8UVYM

        I just wonder how you get a heat map like that instead of a ton of graphs. Can't find any info about it, thinking it might be a thing that happens when you have enough cores.

        it’s fake because task manager can only be set to update as fast as 1 or 2 times per second
