"The Art of Doing Science and Engineering" by Hamming is great, but the actual quality of the physical book is so much better than typical that I looked up the publisher -- I had no idea that https://press.stripe.com/  was a thing!

They also did the Prince of Persia journal, which is similarly high quality. I'm going to buy the rest of their line just based on those examples.

I just got my copy of this! The book is indeed very nice to handle. Beautifully made.

Even a lot of modern hardcover books feel like they are already falling apart; it really stood out!

I bought two more books published by Stripe after this book. The quality and attention to detail in the printing is incredible. Each book is different, too. They took their time making sure they got everything just right.

Oh darn. They had a bundle of all of the ones you just mentioned and another on Amazon. My backlog increases.

If you get a copy of the "High Growth Handbook" could you compare the quality of this one to it? I have a copy and have been *so* bummed that I swore not to get another Stripe Press publication until quality improved.

Stripe Press’s ‘The Making of Prince of Persia’ book is a thing of beauty.

I tried to get @stripepress to publish the DOOM book but could not make it happen. Their finish is my gold standard.

It’s a beautiful book. I was shocked by the quality, bindings and printing of it.
