    Celebrations on board the RRS James Clark Ross in the commemorating 200th anniversary of the first sighting of Antarctica. We understand the vanilla, chocolate and lemon cake by John Liddy (Pursar) was very much enjoyed by all!

    The glacier at Marian Cove is crisscrossed by channels filled with sediment blown across he ice from the surrounding hills. It creates a fantastic texture.
