    Day 15: Not really a “hill fort” but the Island Chumash large, mounded coastal village sites on the Channel Islands. This DEM of the historic village of L'akayamu shows house depressions, 3 mounded loci, & damage from historic road cuts.

    Next step on our change threat assessment survey is to the remote atoll island Hatohobei State. We’ll be on a boat and off the grid for about 6 days, let’s hope for nice weather!
