You can throw all the money you want but if women dont like it, they wont do it. Devote resources to hiring people who actually want the job and have worked hard to get there. Shoehorning just for the sake of it, benefits no one, especially your business.

I don’t think there’s any company not hiring male devs. What you’re missing there is the impact on young girls of the image of devs / programming as a career. It changed dramatically at some point and that needs to be fixed if the industry/world doesn’t want to miss out on talent

Every cider I work with brings a different point of view to a project. That’s vital to success. It also highlights the huge gap that exists by so few women being in coding roles. I don’t know the cause or solution, but I love hearing that someone is trying to close the gap
