The food in my garden is fresher than anything at a store. It is GMO free, pesticide free, all 'waste' goes to chickens or to compost, and no fuel is expended to get the food to the end user. And being heirloom varieties I know the history of each one.

how does this work

I believe the idea is that batches of food are given a digital ID. Then, when you check in the produce to the storage facility/factory/store, you log that in a public location, signing off on it's arrival. Then, if someone wants to see the history of a produce, they can backtrack
