If they were as large and lucrative as tech, it would be a conversation! A lot of these formerly secure professional jobs are vanishing, which is why we see programs to retrain miners to work in tech.

To show them STEM is possible we need to find places in school & non-school hours where tech mentors can begin to influence career choices, starting as early as elementary school.
