I remember that day well. IBM Brazil employee at the time celebrated enthusiastically. Despite being out of this business today his resourcefulness in "large system" and "artificial intelligence" is admirable. Happy birthday IBM

I had one at my office desk. It is very familiar to me and many of my colleagues at IBM Brazil in 1981. IBM moved in 1996 and left the PC's business. It would be nice if we had a competing with an Apple. Certainly better and cheaper.
