No doubt design reviews cost $, but $750k? If a/e consultant billing at $150/hr avg, it’s 5,000 hrs....really?

Land use review by Seattle city planners is currently $394 an hour.
Plus architects, renderers, consultants, landscape architects, traffic engineers, attorneys, review by SDoT and other agencies...
Over course of multi year process, it isn’t hard to imagine a big bill.

For just the design review process. No actual work right? That's an egregious waste of money!

You could really bump this up by estimating the increased construction cost due to X years’ delay.
