So apparently @GazillionGames has laid off all the devs for @MarvelHeroes the day before Thanksgiving and is shutting the game down FRIDAY instead of 12/31.
I didn't think the fate of this game could get worse, and then it really did.

It really is. These devs poured a ton into this game over the last few years and now it's just being wiped from reality.

Unfortunate reality of the industry. Money runs dry, publisher deems the project not cost efficient, or just plain bad management: passionate people lose their jobs :(.
