I often feel bad for game developers when I hear stories of them having to put in hundred hour work weeks with no guarantees of bonuses or even a job after the game ships.

I would say that even if you get a bonus it might not be worth it, that is such an unhealthy amount of hours and stress that you’re doing permanent damage to your body
Yup. I've heard countless horror stories. I'm beyond thankful to not have to worry about that.
