No on both counts. Neither is such a comparison in terms of difficulty fruitful, nor is philosophy, in any meaning of the word, less exigent than natural sciences. For the very theories guiding the natural sciences (and even more social sciences) need philosophical questioning.
Can we all just admit that philosophy is more difficult than science, but that science is far more important than philosophy?
