Happy New Year everyone. The things that really make us human are empathy, compassion and cooperation. We need that now, more than ever. If we can embrace our common humanity, we will endure.

  18. For the government of a historically Christian society in particular to show such partiality encourages tribalism on the world stage and the idea that there are or should be 'Muslim' and 'Christian' countries. We see this often when at UN arguing for freedom of belief for all.

  19. There are many places in the world where Christians are persecuted, but according to the UN they are not the most viciously persecuted minority in the world for their beliefs. Our government should be standing up for the right to freedom of thought and conscience of all.
