And those college graduates will do much more for our economy and stability than any 1%er.

This is likely an untrue statement but I get why people feel that way. The reality is, investment drives our economy. And leaving money in the hands of the people who can most afford to invest will help everyone most in the long run.

And these kids would use the extra money to actually trigger the economy. Homes, cars, furnishings, clothes, trips, restaurants, etc. buying a helicopter or another mansion does not.

Kids? I’m almost 60 and I still have student loans the size of a mortgage; so do a lot of people my age.

Yet still nothing for the elderly and disabled? If the elderly and disabled are expected to live on $800+/- per month why can't graduates pay their loans? Just a question.

Idk if you know this but a graduate working an entry level job does not make as much a as a retired elderly person has made in their lifetime. the elderly worked their whole lives and made money their whole lives. Meanwhile graduates just enter the work force in crippling debt.

America’s biggest problem is that we have a low birth rate and an aging population. We must make it affordable for young families to have babies if we want our economy to remain viable over time. It is not only for the loan holders but for the entire nation.

I saw a Tweet the other day that said roughly, Some Millennials want kids, but at least one of their nine roommates usually objects.
