The author of “The Longer Telegram” wants to be anonymous because he knows he's doing a bad thing. It’s 21st Century, but he's imitating George Kennan's thinking in 1946. It’s taking history backward&pushing the world toward division&confrontation. It’s vicious.@AtlanticCouncil

Whether author remains anonymous or not doesn't matter. What matter is the categorical mention of how Xi administration is assertive externally and more repressive internally. The replacement of Xi by moderate leader might be a welcome step by mid of this century.

Chairman of everything should start counting it's days. The RED lines must be emboldened and any provocation should be dealt with allies. A Monolith approach will only tame the rogue leader. Xi's inner circle should worry about their future.
