pro tip: never read anything about an actor or musician's political views or private life it just ruins everything most of the time because they're insane/pedo/rapist/wifebeater

I think this holds true especially for musicians., where the lyrics are essentially their own expression as opposed to actors portraying a screenplay written by someone else. So now if the song uses double entendres, and the guy turns out to be a pedo, you just can't disconnect.
