Probably inevitable at some point. Or switch to a freemium service a la CME etc. As of now, the breadth and granularity of data provided by exchanges (most) and other infra freely to anyone is honestly one of the best parts of this market.

i hope market data feeds ala wombat/active/bbg dont become a thing here. its all cloudbased so there no speed reason to do so. ICE tried to package something but its delayed and expensive. waste of money

I hope exchanges recognise how a lot of freely available data is great for them in the long run, as means barrier for entry is much lower I'd not have started down this route if I had to pay the fees tradfi charges for data - I'd not have been able to, so wouldn't tried trade
