Nothing wrong with the spray and pray approach. It makes the most logical sense for quant funds in crypto, especially when the dealflow is gushing like a river (most likely the case with Alameda). Just don't treat it as a testament of anything.

I think people should look at the vesting schedule. Anything shorter than 1 year is suspect.

I'd reckon for the majority you won't even be able to find the vesting information unless you explicitly ask the devs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got better terms than anyone else as well. Just because Alameda invested in something doesn't make all investments equal.
