Effectively equally centralized currently, sure but in 10 years, is Solana even closed to as centralized as BSC? What is the potential for decentralization in BSC? Is there any investment thesis in BSC except that we can grift retail money at max pace in this bull market?

You’re pointing our architectural decentralization and not political decentralization. BSC is may have 11 validators but if the majority are under the influence of Binance it is far more centralized. That makes a significant difference.

By the way, anyone can become a solana validator. Solana foundation delegates it's own reserves for you as well. I was a validator since the test net. There were no restrictions to get only your near and dear to control the network.
